The intriguing results of this transformation include the development of various sustainability programs and initiatives that has increased for three decades. The myriad of research in this area focuses on creating opportunities that would minimise, if not eliminate, the impact of manufacturing activities on the natural environment and society. However, previous approaches seemingly detach their association to the competitive function of manufacturing. Maintaining competitiveness while pursuing sustainability has drawn interest from practitioners, but this area is inadequately explored in the current literature. Current research directions on sustainability in the manufacturing industry lack foundations on exploring mechanisms that maintain or improve the competitive function of manufacturing. The integration of sustainability issues into manufacturing strategy (MS) implies complex decision-making in manufacturing. Thus, this paper proposes a framework in formulating MS that addresses sustainability issues while taking into account the competitive function of manufacturing. The framework integrates classical theories of MS and sustainability issues derived from previous works. The proposed framework provides guidance for the decision-making of practitioners and researchers in developing a sustainable manufacturing strategy (SMS). This contributes to manufacturing planning at the firm level.
2025-07-10T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Digital Consumer Science http://journal.adpebi.com/index.php/ijdcs/article/view/1445 The Simultaneously Liquidity And Solvency Have A Significant Effect On Profitability 2025-07-10T12:45:12+07:00 Huang Tet Pey admin@adpebi.com

Faculty of Economics and Business, Batam International University

deviana.sofyan23@gmail.com

ABSTRACT

This study was conducted to determine the effect of liquidity and solvency on profitability in plantation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 to 2020 because it often happens that companies are unable to balance their liquidity and solvency positions because the target company is pursuing profits without compensating management in terms of the ability to pay the debt. This study uses multiple regression analysis with a significance of 0.05. Liquidity variable is measured using current ratio, solvency is measured by debt ratio, while profitability is measured by return on assets. The sampling method used is purposive sampling method. The results partially show that liquidity has a significant effect on profitability, while solvency also has a significant effect on profitability and has a significant effect on profitability. The government carried out a fiscal stimulus for the economy to survive. This study aims to examine Indonesia's fiscal stimulus policy during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research data is sourced from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the Statistic Indonesia, the Ministry of Finance, and the Financial Services Authority. The analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics presented in tables and graphs. The comparison is made for regional growth of the expenditure component between provinces with the highest Covid-19 cases and others. The study results show that the cases of Covid-19 infection are not related to the economic contraction depth because it depends on the dominant output structure of a province. Bali was the province with the highest demand shock resulting from the tourism sector's slowdown, which triggered a decrease in derived demand, such as transportation, hotels, restaurants, and other products or services. The demand side of fiscal policy is lower than the supply side. Funds for the recovery of the tourism sector are allocated as the sector most impacted during the Covid-19 pandemic.

2025-07-10T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Digital Consumer Science http://journal.adpebi.com/index.php/ijdcs/article/view/777 Effect of Self Leadership and Work Motivation on the Performance 2023-10-24T13:20:24+07:00 Maruyah Suharti admin@adpebi.com
The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of self-leadership on work motivation and its impact on the performance of private high school teachers in the West Jakarta Region II Education Sub-Agency. Methodology/approach – The method in this research is quantitative-causal research with a population of private high school teachers in the West Jakarta Region II Education Sub-dept., the sampling technique is snowball sampling with a sample size based on the theory of Hair et al, namely a minimum sample of 10 times the highest indicator. studied, so that the minimum sample that must be taken is 90 respondents, the minimum sample can be fulfilled because the sample collected in this study was 101 respondents. The data analysis method uses the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Findings – The results of the study stated that there was a positive -significant direct relationship between self-leadership on teacher performance, self-leadership on work motivation, and finally between work motivation on teacher performance. Meanwhile, motivation indirectly provides a mediating effect that complements the positive and significant relationship between self-leadership and teacher performance. Novelty/value – self-leadership that private high school teachers in the West Jakarta Region II Education Sub-dept have can support the emergence of work motivation and improve teacher performance, and work motivation can trigger an increase in teacher performance in a better direction.
2025-07-10T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Digital Consumer Science
