Open Access & Archiving Policy

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available to users and institutions without charge. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of articles published in this journal without requesting prior permission from the publisher or authors, in accordance with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Digital Archiving

The journal is committed to preserving its published content and ensuring that scholarly articles remain accessible and citable over the long term. The following practices support the preservation, accessibility, and integrity of the journal's scholarly record.

Online Archive

All published issues are maintained in the journal's online archive and remain freely accessible to readers. This archive provides continued access to previously published articles and issues.

Permanent Identifiers

Each article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref to support persistent identification, reliable citation, and long-term discoverability.

Indexing and Discoverability

The journal is indexed in Google Scholar, Sinta, Garuda, and Dimensions, helping readers and researchers discover its published articles through academic search and indexing services.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors retain the copyright to their work and may deposit their articles in institutional repositories or on their personal websites before and during submission, as well as after publication, provided that the original publication in Geo Media is properly acknowledged. For further information, please see the Copyright and Licensing policy.

Corrections and Retractions

Published articles are not routinely removed from the journal's archive. When errors or issues affecting the integrity of a published article are identified, they are addressed through formal correction or retraction notices linked to the original article, as appropriate. This practice promotes transparency and preserves the completeness of the scholarly record. For further information, please see the Correction and Retraction policy.
