Instruction for Author

In order for an article to be submitted to the International Journal of Economics and Business Administration (IJEBA or “the Journal”) for publication, the following should be taken into consideration:

• Papers must be original and not being submitted in another Journal;
• All papers must be in English;
• Authors should have secured any kind of permission necessary for publication from all potential co-authors, along with having agreed the order of names of publication;
• Authors hold the copyright, have secured permission for the potential reproduction of original or derived material and are ready to transfer copyright of the submitted paper to the publisher, upon acceptance for publication.

The title of the manuscript should be simple and free of jargon, capturing the main message conveyed by the paper. The abstract and conclusions should be 1) self-contained in the sense that they do not rely on anything (such as explanations of acronyms and technical terms) that are explained only in the main text, 2) understandable and interesting for non-specialist audiences, and 3) clearly convey the relevance of your work for real-world problems.

The main text should be written in a concise manner, avoiding superfluous words and phrases, accurately conveying the work undertaken.

Tables and captions must be included in the main text on first submission and be numbered by Arabic numerals. Captions should include keys to symbols. Figures and line drawings should be of a quality suitable for grayscale printing and will not normally be redrawn by the publisher. Figures should be included in the main text on first submission.

• Authors have accepted the journal’s policy regarding open access policy, ethics and malpractice, terms and conditions and the minimum APC of Rp300.000 to be paid after the final acceptance but before publication for an article with up to two authors and ten pages size B5 single space letter size 11 TNR. Additional authors and pages pay more. Τhere is not any other charge neither, submission fee.
• As part of our CSR policy, we offer 10% of total publications free of charge to young researchers, junior academics from low-income countries to help them to promote their research in world academia.

 

Paper’s specifications

Formatting requirements: Papers should be written in Times New Roman letter format size 11, single spaced (main text, footnotes, bibliography, etc.) with wide margins (2.0cm left, 2.0cm right) and consecutively numbered pages (bottom left). Type of font-paragraph format is required. The first page should be designed as to accommodate, along with part of the text, the following (in that order, reading from top to bottom): (a) the paper title and potential subtitle(s), (b) the name and institution(s) of the author(s), (c) an abstract between 350-400 words, (d) a footnote containing detailed information related to the author(s) (name, full address, institution in which the author(s) work, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address, as well as any other relevant information with letter format size 10), (e) a footnote, marked by an asterisk, containing potential acknowledgments (Article Template).

 

Submission of manuscripts in electronic form: Authors must submit electronic manuscripts, using the online paper submission form. The submission should only contain the file(s) of the papers submitted for publication, in MS Word 2007 or later format for the text and MS Excel 2007 or later format for charts. If more than one file, a compressed file (.zip) should be submitted instead.

 

Citation: References in the main text should cite, inside parentheses, the surname of the author(s) and the year of publication. For one author (Harris, 2018), for two authors (Harris and Simons, 2018), for more than two authors (Harris et al., 2017). 

Bibliography at the end of the main text (before potential appendices and after potential tables or legends for figures) should contain publications relevant to the subject of the paper, listed in alphabetical order by the authors` surname, for example: 

For books: Albert, B. (2018). System of Professions: An Essay on the Division of Experts, University of Illinois Press, Chicago, IL. 
For edited books: Fourdieu, M. (2017). "The forms of money", in Richars, M.N. (Ed.), Handbook of Theory and Practice for the Sociology of Education, Green Press, New York, NY, 123-156. 
For periodicals: Griffis, W., Judge, J. (2016). Testing and Estimating Location Vectors when the Error Covariance Matrix is Unknown. Journal of Econometrics, 54(2), 121-138. 
Guthrie, J. and Parker, L. (2017). Editorial: Celebration, reflection and a future: A decade of AAAJ. Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, 10(1), 3-8.
Parker, G., Booth, F. and Marion, G. (2017). Financial Analysis and Corporate Governance: How they Affect Profitability. International Journal of Economics & Business Administration, 4(1), 23-35. 

Abbreviations are only accepted in the authors' first names.

 

Abstract: After the title of the article, the names and the affiliations of the author(s) a 150-350 words abstract is required. The abstract must be clear and concise containing at least, the following: (Abstract Template)

• Purpose
• Design/Methodology/Approach
• Findings
• Practical Implications
• Originality/Value
• Keywords
• Paper Type:  Research Paper/Commentary/Case Study/Other 

 

Illustration: Illustrations should be provided by the author(s) in separate sheets, in order for them to be reproduced as such and not be redrawn by the editors.

 

Special Regulations for Authors: Upon acceptance of an article by the Journal, the author(s) will be asked to transfer copyright of the paper to the publisher. The transfer will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information. No responsibility is assumed by the publisher for any injury and/or damage to persons or property as a matter of products, liability and negligence or otherwise, or from any use or operation of any methods, products, instructions or ideas contained in the material herein.

Non-compliance to the above instructions gives the editors the right to return them in order for all necessary changes to be effected by the author(s). The latter are also held responsible for detecting potential errors.
